SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE CHRISTMAS CARBUNCLEAn original play by local playright Anne Chlovechok Master Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend and associate, Dr. John Watson, will once again be in Cambridge this fall to figure out who has murdered a researcher of mythological animals. Meanwhile, a master jewel thief may have suffered a misunderstanding: That a carbuncle can be a precious gem – or an odd, mythological animal. Holmes will call in his trusty Baker Street Regulars – the Cambridge division – to help him solve the murder. He and Watson will, of course, be staying at the Colonel Taylor Inn, where they will be plagued by a band of persistent Christmas carolers. It’s a Merry Christmas Murder that only Holmes and Watson have a Christmas ghost of a chance at solving. Show dates December 6, 7,8, 13, 14 |
the Beverly HillbilliesThe lovable Clampett family rides onto stage for an evening of hillbilly hilarity. Starting in the Clampett's mountain cabin (a small set placed inside the larger set), the play follows them through the discovery of oil, their improbably invasion of hi-falutin' Beverly Hills society and the absurd adventures and ridiculous romances they encounter there.
